About the role
Deliver high-quality patient care within the clinical trial environment, including patient assessment, eligibility screening, recruitment support and providing information on trial requirements and treatments.
Coordinate clinical trial activities, including patient study visits, study schedules, enrolment tracking, monitoring visits, and blood sample collection, processing and shipping as required.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical trial documentation, data collection and reporting, and respond to data queries in line with study requirements.
Communicate effectively with patients,
healthcare team members and external partners, providing project updates and education to patients and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
Participate in quality improvement activities, professional development, implementation of new processes following training, and support the wider research team as required.
About you
Hold or working towards relevant tertiary qualifications in clinical research and clinical trials or equivalent relevant work experience or currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
Experience with secure data management, participant trial data collection, participant organisational skills, ability to rapidly master new concepts and skills and detailed knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions.
Demonstrated experience in clinical trials that includes the integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking, data analysis and research principles including Positive Clinical Practice.
Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system, and a demonstrated knowledge of databases and management.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and across the interdisciplinary team and multiple care settings.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
