Due to continued growth across a major Defence engagement, they are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Procurement (MM) Functional Consultant to join a high-performing SAP delivery team. This opportunity will see you play a key role in shaping procurement and supply chain capabilities within a complex enterprise environment supporting critical government outcomes.
About the Role
As the SAP Procurement Functional Consultant, you will lead the design, configuration and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) solutions, working closely with procurement, supply chain, finance and technical stakeholders.
You will be responsible for driving best-practice procurement processes while ensuring solutions meet operational, commercial and governance requirements. Key areas of focus include procurement, sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, supplier management and invoice processing.
The role will involve leading workshops, developing functional designs, supporting testing and data migration activities, and ensuring successful delivery across the full project lifecycle. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide expert guidance on SAP procurement capabilities and integration across the broader SAP landscape.
The Successful Candidate




You will be an experienced SAP functional consultant with strong expertise across procurement and materials management within large and complex SAP environments.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Strong experience delivering SAP S/4HANA MM or Procurement solutions.
Deep understanding of purchasing, inventory management, supplier management, contracts and invoice processing.
Experience working on large SAP transformation programs.
Solid knowledge of integration with SAP FI/CO, PM, SD and EWM.
The ability to translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and documentation skills.
Experience with SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, procurement analytics tools or Australian Government procurement environments will be highly regarded.
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the program, applicants must hold:
Active AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance.
An active NV1 Security Clearance will be viewed favourably.
