We are seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer for a 5 day a week, fixed term contract.
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Officer to join our team, working closely with our intervention team to deliver student support programs. This role provides an prospect to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative school community, helping students build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their potential.
Some of the Key Responsibilities of this role will include:
To provide a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, wellbeing and protection of children and young people;
A commitment to the mission, values, and ethos of Catholic Education.
Interest and experience in working with young people with a range of learning and behavioral needs.
The ability to form respectful relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills.




A cooperative nature and enthusiastic approach to working with young people.
Capability to work with children under the supervision of the learning support team and classroom teachers, including in practical subjects as required.
Experience working collaboratively as part of a team.
A lived understanding of the Catholic ethos.
Knowledge of intervention programs
Experience in schools is preferred (training will be provided).
