An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Project Manager
to lead the delivery of a
$20M refurbishment project
in northern suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and highly regarded commercial builder and take ownership of a complex project being delivered within a
live operating environment
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the project from commencement through to completion, working closely with the client, consultants, subcontractors and site team to ensure the project is delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.
The Opportunity
As Project Manager, you will have full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project, with a strong focus on program, cost, quality, stakeholder management and construction methodology.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the delivery of the
$20M refurbishment project
Manage the project through all stages from commencement to completion
Develop and manage project programs, budgets and construction methodology
Lead procurement, subcontractor engagement and contract administration
Manage project variations, progress claims, EOTs and commercial outcomes
Coordinate closely with the Site Manager and wider project team
Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
Develop staging and construction strategies to minimise disruption to the live environment




Identify and proactively manage project risks and construction challenges
Ensure compliance with WHS, quality and environmental requirements
Drive project performance against agreed time, cost and quality targets
About You
We are looking for an experienced
Project Manager
who has successfully delivered complex refurbishment or fitout projects, ideally within a live operating environment.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering
$15M+ commercial projects
Strong refurbishment, fitout or complex construction experience
Demonstrated experience working within a
live environment
Strong understanding of construction methodology, staging and buildability
Excellent commercial and financial management skills
Strong stakeholder and client management capabilities
Proven ability to lead and develop project teams
Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Relevant construction, engineering or project management qualifications
