Sharp & Carter Healthcare is partnering with an established and growing allied health provider to appoint an experienced Senior Physiotherapist across Melbourne's Northern suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist ready to take the next step in their career, combining a varied community-based caseload with clinical leadership, mentoring and service development responsibilities.
You'll join a collaborative allied health environment focused on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to clients within their own homes and communities, supporting them to maintain their mobility, independence and quality of life.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you'll balance hands-on clinical work with the opportunity to support and develop other clinicians within the team.
You'll have autonomy over your caseload while contributing to clinical quality, team development and continuous improvement across the service.
Clinical Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing clients and developing individualised, evidence-based treatment plans
Managing a varied community-based Physiotherapy caseload
Supporting clients to improve mobility, function, independence and overall quality of life
Applying advanced clinical reasoning across a range of presentations
Providing advice regarding appropriate treatment and rehabilitation options
Maintaining accurate and compliant clinical documentation
Supporting the development and implementation of clinical programs
Identifying opportunities to improve clinical processes and service delivery
Developing clinical resources and educational materials
Maintaining contemporary clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development
Leadership & Mentoring
As a senior member of the team,



you'll also have the opportunity to:
Provide clinical mentoring and coaching to Physiotherapists
Support junior clinicians with complex presentations and clinical decision‐making
Assist with team development and capability building
Contribute to training and knowledge‐sharing initiatives
Support the onboarding and development of new team members
Promote high standards of clinical practice and documentation
Work closely with senior clinical leadership to continually improve service delivery
This provides an excellent pathway for an experienced clinician who enjoys mentoring others but still wants to maintain their own clinical caseload.

About You
We're looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who combines strong clinical capability with a genuine interest in supporting and developing others.
To be considered, you will ideally have:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification - o/s applications will not be considered unfortunately
Current
AHPRA registration
Approximately
4+ years of Physiotherapy experience
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
Experience managing a varied clinical caseload
Previous mentoring, supervision or leadership experience would be highly regarded
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
Strong organisational and time‐management capabilities
Commitment to evidence‐based practice and ongoing professional development
Current Australian driver's licence
Reliable access to a vehicle
Ability to service clients across Melbourne's Northern suburbs
Experience within community, aged care, rehabilitation, home‐based care or a similar setting would be advantageous.
