Skilled Bricklayer required
Full time role working 38 hours per week

Lighthouse Brick and Block is a medium-sized construction business with a team of experienced bricklayers and construction workers. We value teamwork, safety, and quality workmanship. We are seeking a skilled and experienced bricklayer who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a robust work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to construct or repair structures
Read and interpret plans and specifications
Measure and mark out areas for bricklaying




Mix and apply mortar to lay bricks and blocks
Cut and shape bricks to fit around corners, edges, and openings
Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Comply with workplace health and safety requirements
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a bricklayer
Certificate III in Bricklaying or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and safety procedures
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
Physical capacity to lift and carry heavy materials
