Product Manager - Web Experience
We are partnering exclusively with a well known Australian retailer to find a Product Manager to own their website experience. This is a permanent sitting in a digital product team of five, based in Chatswood with a move to a new office nearby later this year.
What you will be doing
Owning and maintaining the web experience roadmap
Driving the optimisation agenda across cart, checkout, payments, promotions, loyalty and conversion critical journeys
Improving onsite search, navigation, product discovery and product detail experiences
Improving post purchase journeys across order confirmation, tracking, fulfilment communications, returns and exception handling
Writing high quality requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, and running discovery where a BA is not sitting alongside you
Managing dependencies with the mobile app product team so journeys stay consistent across channels
Managing the product budget, with purchase orders raised through IT
Coordinating delivery with an offshore development partner (senior leadership onshore in Australia)
Preparing status updates and showcase material for digital steering and leadership forums
What you will bring
5+ years as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Digital Product Manager in a consumer facing eCommerce environment
Strong retail eCommerce background, ideally with a business that also operates physical stores




Demonstrated ownership of transactional experience: cart, checkout, payments and conversion
Hands on experience with Adobe Commerce or Magento
Enough technical depth to hold your own with engineers on front end web, APIs and decomposed architecture
Practical use of AI tooling in your product practice, including rapid prototyping with tools like Lovable, Replit or v0
Robust stakeholder management and excellent written and verbal communication
Comfort with context switching, competing priorities and multiple vendors, with a bias to shipping
Jira and Confluence, plus the ability to work through UX journeys and read a Figma file
A genuine love of pets, the office is dog friendly
Nice to have
Understanding of Front end web technologies like React TypeScript and JavaScript
Fulfilment and order management platform experience, with a migration currently underway
Product information management, marketplace or onsite search and merchandising platforms
Mobile app product exposure
Figma design skills
Payments, loyalty or agentic commerce experience
CSPO, PSPO, SAFe POPM or equivalent certification
What is on offer
Ownership of a revenue critical digital channel, a small and senior product team, and a roadmap with real investment behind it.
There is scope for a direct report in the future, though not immediately.
