This role offers excellent variety, working on a diverse fleet of heavy transport trucks and trailers.
You will handle everything from routine servicing and diagnostic troubleshooting to major engine overhauls.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesMaintenance: Perform logbook servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on heavy trucks and trailers.Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and rectify complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.Component Overhauls: Assist with or lead major component rebuilds (engines, gearboxes, differentials).
Compliance: Complete clear workshop job cards and ensure all repairs meet safety and roadworthiness standards.Teamwork: Work collaboratively alongside our workshop manager, apprentices,



and office team.What We Are Looking ForQualifications: Trade Certificate (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
Experience: Proven experience (2 years) working on heavy diesel trucks (e.g., Kenworth, Volvo, Mack, Isuzu) and trailers.Licence: A valid Australian Driver's Licence (HR or HC licence is a massive advantage).
