and alerting for mission‐critical systemsAutomate operational and configuration tasks using Ansible and Linux scriptingProduce operational and executive reporting, converting high‐volume logs and telemetry into clear, actionable insightsContribute to security, risk, and governance documentation, ensuring audit‐ready outputsBridge across multiple delivery, customer, and vendor teams to drive resolution and alignmentMaintain accurate documentation and support effective knowledge transfer and long‐term system sustainmentWhat You'll NeedExperience in platform, systems, or observability engineering within complex environmentsHands‐on experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats/Elastic Agent); ECE experience highly regardedStrong Linux administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred) and automation using Ansible and scriptingExperience with ITIL service management — incident, problem, request, and changeExperience with data integration and pipeline developmentStrong analytical and problem‐solving skills, including turning high‐volume logs into operational and executive reportingExcellent communication skills across both technical and non‐technical stakeholdersAbility to operate with precision within strict government SOPs and manage competing prioritiesElastic Certified Engineer certifiedITIL certificationExperience in secure government or national security environmentsFamiliarity with security and compliance frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, or Essential EightExposure to integrations including SAP HANA, SAML, SNMP, Nginx, and DynatraceRed Hat certification (e.g. RHCSA)Employment TypeLong‐term contract and permanent employment options availableSecurity Clearance RequirementsApplicants must be Australian citizens and hold a current NV1 security clearance.
