The business is prepared to wait for someone with the right experience, including those with lengthy notice periods.The OpportunityThis position sits within a newly established Asset Integrity function, created to centralise and uplift statutory compliance that was previously managed across multiple operational areas.
Reporting to a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer, you will take ownership of the planning and scheduling of statutory inspections, preventative maintenance and rectification works arising from inspection findings, as well as selected unplanned and breakdown maintenance activities.
The foundations are in place.
The focus of this role is on consistency, foresight and system maturity, rather than reactive firefighting.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule statutory inspections across fixed plant and infrastructure, including:Cranes and lifting equipmentPressure vessels and safety valvesHeavy lifts and specialised contractor activitiesManage follow-up repairs and corrective actions arising from inspection outcomesDevelop, optimise and maintain SAP maintenance plans, task lists, BOMs and master dataEnsure statutory work orders are issued prior to contractor mobilisationCoordinate planning activities with a tight,



experienced contractor panelSupport unplanned and breakdown maintenance planning as requiredImprove alignment between SAP, asset registers and compliance databasesContribute to consistent, site-wide statutory compliance planning standardsThe EnvironmentPart of a small, technically strong Asset Integrity teamStrong engineering, inspection and quality capability supporting the roleMature, preventative maintenance mindset4:3 roster, 10-hour daysDIDO options from the Bunbury / Australind region (approx. 60-minute radius)Camp accommodation available for site daysFlexibility to consider alternative working arrangements once settledAbout YouThis role is suited to an experienced statutory compliance planner who understands what "good" looks like in complex industrial environments and enjoys building planning systems that work.Extensive experience in statutory compliance planningBackground in mining, resources, power generation or heavy industryStrong SAP maintenance planning capabilityProven ability to build, refine and improve planning systems and processesConfident working autonomously with delegated authorityStrong organisational skills, foresight and attention to detailA trade or engineering background is welcomed, though judgement and experience are valued over formal qualifications.This opportunity would particularly suit someone seeking stability, technical depth and long-term impact.Why This Role?
