Pharmacist in Charge
of a well-established regional community pharmacy in beautiful North Queensland.
This is an opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who is ready to lead a small team, and make a meaningful impact within a close-knit community.
Roster
Full Time – 46.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pmSaturday: 8:30am – 12:30pmClosed Sundays

About the role
As Pharmacist in Charge, you will take responsibility for the daily leadership, clinical operations, and performance of Tully LiveLife Pharmacy, supported by a Retail Manager that looks after Rostering, Staffing and General Management of the store.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations and workflow in conjunction with the Retail Manager




Provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused services
Dispense using the FRED dispensing system
Deliver clinical services including vaccinations, medicinal cannabis, Opioid Substitution Program (ODT), and Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) for community and nursing home.
Support and develop pharmacy team members
Build strong relationships with local prescribers and healthcare providers
Ensure compliance with professional standards and pharmacy procedures
The pharmacy services approximately
250 scripts per day
and provides a broad range of community healthcare services.
What we're looking for
This role would suit an experienced Pharmacist in Charge or a confident pharmacist looking to step into a leadership position.
You will have:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD qualification
Current AHPRA General Registration
Minimum 3 years' experience as an AHPRA registered pharmacist
Strong clinical knowledge and patient care focus
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead, motivate, and support a pharmacy team
Experience with FRED dispensing software (advantageous)
