Senior Audit Manager Technology Audit (Cloud)
About the Role:
We're seeking a Senior Audit Manager to assess emerging technologies and advise executive leadership and the Board on their impact, risks, and control effectiveness. This role requires deep technical expertise, risk acumen, and strong ability to evaluate IT controls, governance mechanisms, and security postures within modern technology environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute technical audits across cloud computing, software engineering (DevSecOps, CI/CD), AI/ML, and application development
Evaluate risks, design, and effectiveness of IT controls and governance frameworks
Assess cybersecurity and technology risks, providing clear, actionable recommendations
Communicate audit findings to senior management and stakeholders
Monitor implementation of agreed action plans and audit issue resolution
Identify and develop audit approaches for emerging technologies
Collaborate effectively across the organisation with solid stakeholder management
What We're Looking For:




Proactive risk mindset with ability to identify and assess current and emerging technology risks
Demonstrated expertise navigating complex IT environments (technology or financial services background preferred)
Solid understanding of cloud architecture and controls (AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications advantageous)
Hands-on experience assessing DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and development toolchains (GitHub, Terraform, Kubernetes)
Proficiency with IT control frameworks: COBIT, NIST CSF, ISO *****, CSA CCM
Knowledge of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, blockchain
Advanced analytical skills with ability to interpret technical data and trends
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and critical thinking
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
Tableau/Alteryx skills preferred
