Our vision is to be a global leader in providing trusted solutions that improve life today and tomorrow.About The RoleInternally, this role is referred to as Standards Development Lead and you will be focused on the Primary Industry & Safety sector.Reporting to the National Manager - Primary Industry & Safety this role is responsible for managing standards development projects and supporting the work of technical committees across the sector portfolio.The role coordinates the development of Australian Standards and related publications while ensuring standards development activities comply with organisational policies, governance frameworks and project management methodologies.You will work closely with technical committees, industry experts,



regulators and internal teams to facilitate consensus outcomes and ensure standards development projects are delivered within agreed timelines and scope.What You'll DoIn this role, you will manage standards development projects and support stakeholder engagement across the sector portfolio.Key Responsibilities IncludeManaging the development of national standards and related technical publicationsEstablishing and maintaining project plans, schedules and documentation using project management systemsCoordinating technical committee meetings and facilitating discussions to achieve consensus outcomesPreparing and distributing meeting documentation including agendas, draft standards and minutesMonitoring committee activity and proactively managing project risks or issuesMaintaining positive working relationships with committee members and sector stakeholdersSupporting Australian participation in international standards development activitiesManaging national mirror committee participation in international standards work and balloting processesEnsuring projects comply with Standards Australia's policies, procedures and governance frameworksMaintaining accurate committee and stakeholder records using organisational systemsAbout youYou are an organised project professional who enjoys coordinating complex projects and working collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.You Will BringExperience in project coordination,



administration or stakeholder support rolesDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timelinesExperience working with project management frameworks or structured delivery methodologiesStrong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilitiesExperience facilitating meetings and coordinating group discussionsStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRelevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experienceCulture & BenefitsStandards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, **** and ****.
