Assistant Store Manager across our Sandro & Maje Dual-Brand boutique inside our iconic David Jones Elizabeth Street Flagship.
Reporting directly to the
Cluster Store Manager
, this high-visibility role is designed for a strategic, high-energy retail leader. You will act as a key operational anchor for our flagship location—building a high-performing team, managing dual-brand complexity, and driving sales alongside your team.
What You Will Do
Team Building & Culture:
Partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and retain top retail talent. Build an inclusive,



cohesive, and motivated dual-brand team that thrives on healthy competition and shared success.
Leadership & Real-Time Coaching:
Lead by example on the sales floor. Coach Stylists in the moment on clienteling, active selling, and delivering our elevated Parisian selling ceremony.
Performance & KPI Management:
Partner with store management to track, analyse, and drive key performance metrics across both brands, ensuring daily and seasonal sales targets are consistently met.
Operational & Inventory Control:
Ensure high standards of compliance across both brand spaces. Oversee stock accuracy, stock room organisation, floor replenishment, and loss prevention procedures.
Visual & Brand Excellence:
Maintain impeccable floor presentation in accordance with global Sandro and Maje visual merchandising guidelines.
What We Are Looking For
The Team Builder:
A natural leader with a proven track record of developing staff, improving team retention, and fostering a strong, positive culture.
The Retail Leader:
Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Senior Supervisor, or Store Manager in a high-volume fashion, premium, or department store environment.
The Commercial Mindset:
Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse performance metrics and turn insights into actionable floor coaching.
Operational Discipline:
High attention to detail regarding inventory management, loss prevention, and brand compliance.
Style & Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal presentation that aligns with contemporary Parisian fashion.
