Known for their team-oriented culture and impressive staff retention, they continue to expand and are now looking for a Junior Customer Service Officer to join their growing operations team.The RoleAs a Junior Customer Service Officer, you will support the team in managing client accounts and coordinating with internal logistics functions to help ensure shipments are delivered accurately and on time.
This is a great entry point into the freight forwarding industry, with full training provided and an experienced team around you to learn from.Some exposure to freight forwarding, logistics or warehousing is preferred, but what matters most is attitude, curiosity and a strong willingness to learn.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in managing client accounts and providing timely, accurate communication on shipment statusAssist with coordinating carriers, Customs brokers and logistics partners across land, air and sea freightHelp prepare and check freight documentation and delivery ordersSupport invoicing,



payment verification and accurate record keepingWork closely with the wider team to resolve issues and maintain service qualityBuild your understanding of the industry with a view to taking on more responsibility over timeAbout YouSome exposure to freight forwarding, logistics or warehousing environments is preferred, though we care more about the right attitude than years of experienceBackground in customer service, administration, warehousing, hospitality or logistics support is highly regarded, we care more about the experience behind it than the exact job titleA true willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a sharp, curious mindReliable, detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple tasks at onceConfident communicator, comfortable speaking with clients and internal stakeholdersComfortable using Microsoft Office, with an interest in picking up new systemsTeam player who wants to grow their career within a supportive, collaborative environmentWhat's On Offer$65,000 to $70,000 base salary + superFull training and mentoring from an experienced teamA business that believes in getting the work done and getting home on time.
