Product Control sits at the centre of Global Markets, working closely with Trading, Risk and Finance to deliver accurate P&L; reporting and maintain a solid control environment.Your impactYou will lead Product Control across Fixed Income, Rates & FX trading desks, overseeing daily P&L;, ensuring reporting accuracy and strengthening controls.Provide clarity on P&L; drivers, market movements and risk positionsMaintain a strong control framework across reporting, systems and processesPartner with Front Office, Risk and Technology to support business initiativesDrive automation, efficiency and reporting enhancementsLead,



coach and develop a high-performing teamInfluence senior stakeholders through clear financial insightsWe're interested in hearing from people who haveExperience in Product Control or Financial Control across traded financial products (Fixed Income, Rates and FX)Strong accounting foundation with a sound understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting frameworksWorking knowledge of trading platforms such as Murex and WallstreetStrong analytical capability, with experience in tools such as SQL, VBA, Power BI, Tableau Prep or AlteryxDemonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesStrong commercial acumen and ability to influence stakeholdersTertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineProfessional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CFA or similar)Working at CommBankAt CommBank, we support flexibility so you can balance how and where work is done, with at least half of each month connecting in the office.
