This role is essential to our practice's mission of maintaining the highest standards of oral healthcare and ensuring patient satisfaction and wellbeing.What you'll be doingConducting thorough patient examinations and developing individualised treatment plansPerforming a range of dental procedures including restorative, preventative and cosmetic treatmentsTaking and interpreting radiographs and other diagnostic imaging to inform clinical decision-makingProviding patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventative careMaintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with regulatory requirementsCollaborating with assistants and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomesAdhering to strict sterilisation and infection control protocolsManaging patient concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathyStaying current with developments in dental practice and implementing evidence-based treatment approachesWhat we're looking forA current and valid Australian dental licence and registration with the Dental Board of AustraliaA recognised dental degree from an accredited institutionProven experience delivering general dental care in a clinical settingStrong clinical skills and knowledge of contemporary dental practices and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities with patients and team membersMeticulous attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and infection controlThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative teamProfessional resilience and the capacity to manage a busy patient scheduleCommitment to continuing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancementsExperience working in Australian dental practices is highly desirableWhat we offerWorking at Sydenham Dental Group, you will be part of a supportive and professional dental team committed to excellence in patient care.
