This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership-focused role where you'll manage your own packing line, support a small team, and play a key part in delivering high-quality food products to customers across Australia.You will be responsible for operating thermoformer packaging machinery, coordinating daily packing activities, and ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.Location: Camellia, NSWRoster Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:30am to 5:00pmImportant:



This role is based in a food production facility and involves:Working in cold environment conditionsRegular handling of pork productsManual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kgWHAT YOU'LL DOSet up and operate thermoformer packaging machines at the start of each shiftMonitor and adjust machine settings including speed, temperature, vacuum and cycle timesCoordinate workflow across the packing line to ensure efficient productionLead, support and motivate a small team of packing staffTroubleshoot minor equipment issues and minimise downtimeHandle and replace film rolls ******kg) safelyCarry out packing duties and operate additional line equipment as requiredComplete end-of-shift shutdown procedures, reporting and cleaning preparationMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality assuranceWHAT YOU'LL NEEDExperience operating production or packaging machinery (thermoformer experience highly regarded)Ability to troubleshoot and adjust machinery in a fast-paced environmentStrong leadership or leading-hand experience on a production linePhysically fit and able to handle manual tasks (lifting up to 25kg)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityClear communication and ability to motivate a teamA proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethicComfortable working in a cold food production environmentComfortable handling pork products in accordance with food safety requirementsChallenger Services is an Equal Opportunities employer - candidates of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.Be careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
