Nomadic Off-Road Campers is expanding our service center and requires a skilled and dedicated Caravan Service Technician to join our team in Mackay, QLD.This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining and servicing our range of high-quality off‐road caravans and camper trailers.
As a Caravan Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that every caravan that leaves our workshop meets our stringent quality standards and safety requirements.
You will also be required to service a range of caravans from other manufacturers & customers.This role is essential to our commitment to customer satisfaction and the longevity of our products, making you a key contributor to Nomadic Off‐Road Campers' reputation for excellence.What you'll be doingPerforming servicing and maintenance on caravans, camper trailers and off‐road vans, including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systemsFollowing existing checklist systems and procedures to diagnosing and repairing mechanical faultsConducting safety inspections and compliance checks to ensure all vehicles meet relevant Australian standards and regulationsUndertaking scheduled maintenance tasks such as bearing changes, filter replacements, brake servicing and suspension workInspecting and servicing plumbing systems, appliances, water systems and electrical installations on caravansMaintaining accurate service records and documentation for all work completedLiaising with customers to explain work carried out and provide advice on vehicle maintenance and careOrdering and managing spare parts and materials required for repairs and maintenanceAdhering to health and safety standards and workshop procedures at all timesSupporting the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of service schedulesWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a mechanic or service technician, preferably with caravans,
