Duty Manager – Bar, Events & Late-Night OperationsLead the night at one of Fortitude Valley's most dynamic venuesThe Beaumont is a two-level hospitality and entertainment destination in the heart of Fortitude Valley.Upstairs, The Beaumont Beer Garden offers rooftop dining, cocktails, poolside drinks, stone-fired pizzas and private functions.Downstairs, our 800pax Main Room hosts live music, DJs, late night events, corporate functions and private celebrations.We are looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Duty Manager with strong club, entertainment or late-night venue experience.
You will take ownership of evening and late-night operations, lead the team from the front and ensure every event runs safely, smoothly and professionally.This role is ideal for a manager who understands quick-paced nightlife, can confidently coordinate multiple departments and remains calm when the venue is at full capacity.What you'll doLead bar, live entertainment, function and late-night trading shiftsTake responsibility for the safe and successful operation of the venueCoordinate bar, floor, kitchen, security, entertainment and event teamsWork closely with DJs, performers, promoters, function organisers and contractorsConduct pre-shift briefings and allocate staff across multiple service areasMonitor crowd behaviour, patron intoxication and venue capacitySupport security with refusals of service, patron removals and incident managementEnsure RSA, liquor licensing, workplace safety and venue procedures are followedResolve guest complaints and operational issues quickly and professionallyMaintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and venue readinessManage opening and closing procedures, cash reconciliation and end-of-shift reportingComplete incident reports,



handovers and other required venue documentationCoach, motivate and develop staff during busy servicesRespond confidently to unexpected changes, high-volume arrivals and operational pressureAbout youYou are a visible, practical leader who is comfortable making decisions and taking control of a busy venue.You will ideally have:At least two years' experience in a Duty Manager, Club Manager, Night Manager or similar leadership roleStrong experience in nightclubs, live entertainment, large events or late-night hospitalityConfidence managing high-volume trade and large patron numbersExperience working with security teams and handling patron-related incidentsStrong knowledge of RSA, liquor licensing and late-night venue complianceExperience managing bars, functions, entertainment and floor operationsExcellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skillsA calm and professional approach under pressureStrong cash-handling, closing and reporting skillsA hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team wherever requiredAvailability to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and late-night shiftsCurrent RMLV certificateCurrent Queensland Approved Manager LicenceFull Australian working rightsWhy join The Beaumont?
