It's a genuinely compelling time to join our small, capable technology team.We're looking for a hands-on IT Support Officer to be the go-to person for technology across the business.
Supporting to the CTO and working alongside our software engineering team, you'll keep our people productive and our systems secure — from everyday desktop support through to our cloud identity, contact centre, network and shuttle platforms.
If you're technically curious, security-minded and enjoy helping people, you'll fit right in.What you'll doBe first-line support for staff across all 14 locations — in person and via email, Teams and phone — managing the Zendesk helpdesk queue and keeping tickets moving.Set up and support workstations, laptops, printers, tablets, iPads and mobiles, and handle hardware upgrades, repairs and ordering.Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID — onboarding and offboarding users, mailboxes, licensing, groups and directory sync.Manage devices and mobile fleets through Microsoft Intune and Hexnode MDM, keeping compliance and BitLocker encryption in valuable shape.Look after endpoint security via Bitdefender GravityZone and manage business-wide email signatures with CodeTwo.Configure and troubleshoot Single Sign-On across our business applications,



with a careful eye on protecting customer data.Administer and monitor network hardware (switches, access points and gateways) across sites via Ubiquiti UniFi.Support our contact centre and telephony platforms (RingCentral and NICE CXone), our shuttle app, in-vehicle tablets and the We-Capture vehicle condition platform.Liaise with IT vendors, research new technology, and pitch in on rollouts and improvements.What you'll bringSolid experience in an IT support or helpdesk role — multi-site experience is a real plus.Hands-on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) administration, including user lifecycle, licensing and SSO.Experience with endpoint management / MDM (Intune, Hexnode or similar) and Windows 11 support.Strong all-round troubleshooting across hardware, software and networking.A security-conscious mindset and good judgement around data protection.A friendly, clear communicator who enjoys helping non-technical colleagues.Nice to haveZendesk or similar ticketing; contact centre platforms (RingCentral, NICE CXone); endpoint security (Bitdefender GravityZone); network controllers (Ubiquiti UniFi); macOS support; and an interest in automation.Why East Coast Car RentalsA broad, hands-on role with genuine variety — no two days the same.A modern cloud stack and the chance to grow your skills as we bring systems in-house.A small, supportive team where your work has visible impact.Based at our Corporate Southport head office on the Gold Coast.East Coast Car Rentals is an equal opportunity employer.
