Support system commissioning, configuration, firmware upgrades and diagnostics.Assist in troubleshooting battery systems, BMS, inverters, PCS and communication interfaces (CAN, RS485 and Modbus).
Escalate complex technical issues to senior engineers and support follow-up investigations.Product Support & EngineeringAssist with product testing, validation and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.Support engineering investigations and continuous product improvement.Prepare technical reports, commissioning records and engineering documentation.Assist in developing installation guides, technical manuals and troubleshooting materials.Customer & Installer SupportProvide technical assistance to installers, distributors and EPC partners.Support customer enquiries and participate in technical training sessions.Assist with warranty investigations, product performance assessments and RMA support where required.Compliance & SafetyEnsure engineering activities comply with Australian standards and company procedures.Maintain awareness of AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS **** and other relevant standards.Participate in product compliance testing and certification activities.Follow Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements during office and field work.Future Product DevelopmentDevelop knowledge of Aeson's expanding battery product portfolio,



including sodium-ion technologies and future automotive lithium battery products.Work closely with senior engineers and global R&D; teams to support new product development for the Australian market.Skills & ExperienceEssentialBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Electronics or a related discipline.Graduate to approximately 2 years of relevant industry experience.Strong interest in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), renewable energy or power electronics.Basic understanding of electrical systems, battery technologies and inverter systems.Ability to read electrical schematics, SLDs and technical drawings.Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Australian working rights.Highly RegardedExperience with residential or commercial solar and battery systems.Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and grid connection requirements.Experience with BESS commissioning or technical support.Familiarity with Victron, Deye, SMA, Growatt, Fronius or similar inverter platforms.Mandarin language skills.White Card or relevant electrical safety training.Personal AttributesPassionate about renewable energy and battery technologies.Eager to learn and develop new technical skills.Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative engineering team.Willingness to travel occasionally for customer site support.What We OfferCompetitive salary package based on experience.Career development within one of Australia's growing energy storage businesses.Exposure to residential, commercial and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.Opportunity to work with next-generation sodium-ion battery technology.Direct collaboration with experienced Australian engineers and international R&D; teams.Ongoing technical training and professional development.Employee discount and additional company benefits.
