We have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team at Woodford Doctors on a Full Time basis.Doctors at Morayfield is home to 6 skilled GPs and an experienced support team of Nurses and Receptionists.With a focus on Care Plans and patient support, our ideal candidate will have experience with Chronic Disease Management and strong interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care, and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry.Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:Chronic Disease ManagementTriage and management of acutely unwell patientsImmunisations of children and adultsWound careHealth assessments including workplace medicalsAssisting with minor proceduresResults notification and patient educationCold chain managementRequirements:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered NursePrevious experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferableThe ability to work both independently when required and cohesively within a team environmentA warm and friendly personality with a commitment to working as a part of a team of professionalsDedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing careExceptional attention to detailProficient computer skills (experience with Best Practice not essential but highly regarded)Strong communication and time management skillsWhy work for us?
