Osborne Richardson is partnering with a local council client in North QLD to secure a Human Resources Advisor for an initial 6-month engagement, with flexibility around start and working arrangements.About the RoleThis role has come about due to short staffing within the council's People, Performance and Safety team.
You'll need to be adaptable, hands-on and comfortable working across the full HR lifecycle — someone who can step in, prioritise and deliver from day one.Reporting to the Executive Manager People, Performance and Safety, you'll work closely with the broader HR team to progress a number of key priorities,



including:Preparing employment contracts and related HR correspondenceReviewing and refreshing the employee induction programSupporting the rollout of a new Onboarding Module in SCOUTReviewing and updating Position Descriptions and Contracts of EmploymentAssisting with the development and rollout of a new performance review programProviding generalist HR support across the full employee lifecycleAbout YouDemonstrated HR experience within Queensland Local Government (essential)Level 5 equivalent experience under the QLD Local Government Industry AwardConfident working autonomously and managing competing prioritiesImmediately available or able to start at short noticeComfortable with regular online collaboration and meetingsWhat's on OfferFully remote in the early stages of the engagementLaptop, VPN access and mobile phone providedFlexible working hours6-month contract with a supportive, collaborative teamStandard pre-employment checks apply, including police check, referee checks and right to work verification.Ready to apply?
