A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works across greenfield and brownfield environments.
The head contractor is seeking a Document Controller to manage information and records for the greenfield delivery scope.
You'll administer the common data setting, maintain document registers and version control, coordinate transmittals and ensure accessibility of project information with rigorous attention to accuracy and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister common data environment (CDE) or EDRMS on behalf of the projectMaintain document numbering, revisions, statuses and approval workflowsCoordinate document transmittals and approval processesManage drawing registers and specification controlsProduce document reports and management metricsSupport document-related audits and compliance reviewsRespond to document requests and manage access permissionsCoordinate with design,
construction and client teams on document mattersMaintain project information security and confidentiality standardsSupport commissioning document preparation and handover dossier completionWhat We're Looking ForNo degree required; qualification in business administration, project support or records management is a bonus2+ years' document control or project administration experienceExperience on a construction or engineering project of $100m+Hands-on use of common data environment or EDRMSUnderstanding of document numbering, revisions, statuses and transmittalsHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office and spreadsheet management2+ years' average tenure per employer with at least one document control role held for 2+ yearsAble to obtain construction induction card if site attendance requiredExcellent accuracy and attention to compliance detailStrong organisational and communication skills
