From annual skin checks and flu shots to our bi-annual health fair, we're committed to helping you stay healthyEmployee Assistance ProgramAbout the RoleReporting to Senior Producer, the Talks and Ideas Producer will :Drive the development, innovation and delivery of high-quality talks and ideas programs as part of Waverley's vibrant arts and cultural offeringContribute to delivering strategic objectives by creating meaningful experiences that engage audiences and strengthen Waverley's position as a leader in arts and cultureOversee the planning, coordination and delivery of contemporary talks, forums, panels and creative conversations, working with artists, thinkers, partners and communities to bring inspiring ideas to lifeDevelop experiences that encourage curiosity, connection and participationChampion new ideas and deliver impactful cultural programs that resonate with the audiencesAbout YouRelevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in literary or other talks and ideas program producing, with current qualified networks within the arts sector.Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering talks and ideas projects and programs that offer engaging experiences and reflect industry best practice.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and visual communication skills.Experience in budgeting and tracking expenditure, event/project and resource management, negotiation,
contracting and risk management in an arts context.Excellent skills in building relationships with books and publishing sector partners and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and spanning a range of skill levels.Experience in producing outcomes across a range arts and culture subject areas including performance programs, audience engagement opportunities, community development and participation, creative development opportunities and public programs, and working with contemporary artists in a community driven environment.Ability and willingness to work outside standard office hours, including weekends.Experience in developing high-quality communications materials and event documentation.Minimum intermediate level computer literacy across Microsoft suite and databases**Please note: ** We value authentic applications.
