Create experiences children love.St Clare's OSHC is seeking a fulltime enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Coordinator to lead our welcoming service, supporting up to 114 children across Before School Care (BSC), After School Care (ASC) and Vacation Care (VAC) programs.As the Assistant Coordinator, you will oversee the daily operations of the service, lead a dedicated team of educators, and create a protected, engaging and inclusive environment where children can learn, play and grow.
You'll work closely with families, school staff and children to deliver high-quality, child-led programs that reflect children's interests, strengths and voices.With strong connections to the school community, St Clare's OSHC offers a rewarding opportunity to lead a service where relationships, wellbeing and meaningful experiences are at the heart of everything we do.Key Responsibilities:Support the Hub Manager with the day-to-day operation of the serviceAssist with program planning, implementation and documentationContribute to staff rostering, supervision and team supportComplete administrative and financial tasks, including fee collectionHelp deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging educational experiencesFoster a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment for all childrenBuild positive relationships with children, families and colleaguesWork collaboratively within an established team to achieve the best outcomesParticipate in ongoing professional learning and developmentAct as the Responsible Person when required in the Coordinator's absenceJob Requirements:Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent)Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/AnaphylaxisCurrent completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework,
