Reporting into the finance team, you'll manage the full payables cycle for multiple entities, keep supplier relationships robust, and make sure every payment is accurate, approved and on time.
There's also real scope to shape how things are done, with opportunities to drive automation and system improvements as the business scales.This role would suit someone who takes pride in a clean, well-run ledger, is comfortable working across several entities and systems at once, and enjoys finding a better way to handle a repetitive task.What you'll be doingOwn the full AP cycle across multiple entities, from invoices and coding to approvalsMatch invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation,



resolving discrepancies with project and procurement teamsPrepare and process accurate, on-time payment runs across entities and bank accountsReconcile supplier statements and AP sub-ledgers, keeping aged payables cleanManage the AP inbox and act as the main point of contact for supplier queriesSupport month-end close, including accruals, AP cut-off and GL reconciliationsDrive automation, workflow improvements and finance systems projects as the business scalesEnsure payments are properly authorised, controls are followed, and GST/BAS coding and audit requests are supportedWhat you'll bringTo succeed in this role, you'll have:AP experience across multiple entities or a group structureExperience with Sage, Xero and Excel, and comfort working across systemsStrong attention to detail and accurate, on-time processingConfidence reconciling accounts and resolving discrepanciesA proactive, improvement-minded approachConstruction, engineering, manufacturing or project-based experience (highly regarded)Exposure to AP automation, ERP implementations or PO/project cost workflows (highly regarded)Please note: candidates must have permanent working rights in Australia.
