About the role - Immediate StartWe are a NDIS registered provider seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team.
This casual position is ideal for someone with who can travel across and outside of the Geelong region and enjoys the flexibility of a diverse work schedule.
As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live independently.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.Working across various service settings - community access and engagement, behaviour support implementation and short-term accommodationAccompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events to promote their inclusion and participationProviding emotional support and encouraging clients to develop life skills and build capacityCollaborating with clients, their families, and other allied health professionals to develop and implement individualised support plansMaintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest standards of careAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clientsWhat we're looking forA minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role,
