This pivotal role involves leading retail sales, overseeing key operational functions, and supporting the Store Manager in driving store performance.If you thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy balancing leadership, operations and customer engagement, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingSupporting day-to-day store and showroom operationsAssist the Store Manager with daily operations, staff rostering, and performance management.Mentor and support team members to achieve individual and store targetsAction staff hiring, promotions and disciplinary procedures (where required)Ensure thorough induction and training for all current staff membersEnsure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service and maintaining a fully stocked storeManage the receipt and distribution of shipmentsMaintain showroom and warehouse ensuring it is kept clean & safe at all timesReporting and sales managementSupporting warehouse and delivery operations where requiredEnsuring compliance with WH&S; policies and safe work practicesWhat We're Looking ForProven working experience in retail supervisory or assistant management role, preferably within the home improvement, hardware,



or design sectorsUnderstanding of advanced sales principles, customer service practices and team leadershipGood level of computer literacy and MS applicationsDriven to meet sales targets with a proven record of exceedingAbility to build effective working relationshipsSolid communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsFriendly, helpful, confident and engaging personalityPhysical Requirements of the RoleThis role includes both showroom and operational responsibilities and involves regular standing, walking and manual handling tasks, including safely lifting and moving products up to *****kg.
