Scrap Metal Excavator Operator - Vehicle DismantlingJollys Auto Parts is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria.
This full-time role will see you operating heavy machinery to dismantle vehicles as part of our vehicle recycling operations.
You will be a key member of our Plant & Machinery Operators team, playing a crucial part in our commitment to sustainable resource management.What you'll be doingExpertly operate excavators and other heavy machinery to systematically dismantle end-of-life vehiclesEnsure all dismantling activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with company policies and proceduresIdentify and separate vehicle components and materials for recycling or resaleConduct regular maintenance and pre-start checks on assigned equipmentProvide guidance and support to less experienced team members as requiredContribute to a positive team culture and high safety standards on the worksiteWhat we're looking forSeveral years' experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction, demolition or recycling environmentDemonstrated expertise in the operation of excavators and other heavy machineryKnowledge of vehicle dismantling procedures and recycling best practicesExcellent hand-eye coordination,
