Registered Nurse (Grade 2), Children's WardEmployment Type -Permanent Part Time; Temporary Part TimeJob Category-Nursing - Registered Nurse (Div 1)Join a supportive Paediatric Services team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, family-centred careBe supported through education, mentoring and professional development opportunitiesPermanent and temporary part time positions availableAbout the roleExciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses to join our Children's ward, with both permanent and temporary positions available.Working as part of a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide safe, timely and high-quality nursing care to children and adolescents with a range of acute and complex health needs.
You will work closely with children, their families and carers to deliver compassionate, family-centred care and support the best possible outcomes for every child.You will be supported to build your confidence and capability in paediatric nursing, with opportunities to work alongside experienced clinicians and further develop your clinical skills in a energetic and rewarding environment.Key responsibilitiesProvide safe, evidence-based and family-centred nursing care to infants, children and adolescentsWork collaboratively with children, families and carers, medical, nursing and allied health professionalsUndertake comprehensive nursing assessments and recognise, respond to and escalatDevelop, implement and evaluate individualised plans of care in partnership with children and their familiesProvide education,
