We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Fitter to support the reliability and performance of our production lines.
This hands‐on role operates within a dynamic manufacturing setting, offering the opportunity to work both autonomously and collaboratively with cross‐functional teams while contributing to continuous improvement across the site.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and production linesCarry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipmentRepair and replace machine components including pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and packaging equipmentDiagnose mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtimeComplete maintenance tasks and record work in the CMMS systemMonitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliabilityEnsure all work complies with safety, quality, GMP,



and HACCP standardsAssist with ordering parts and maintaining critical sparesCommunicate effectively with production and maintenance teamsProvide after‐hours/on‐call support as requiredAbout YouTrade‐qualified Mechanical Fitter or other similar tradeExperience in a manufacturing or FMCG environmentExperience in the beverage industry is highly regardedStrong mechanical fault‐finding and problem‐solving skillsHands‐on approach with the ability to work independently and within a teamComfortable working in a rapid‐paced production environmentStrong communication skills and attention to detailCommitment to safety and continuous improvementForklift licence and EWP (highly advantageous) or willingness to obtainStainless Steel Tig Welding (highly desirable)Additional InformationThis role is 5 days per week onsite in Melbourne's Western SuburbsDue to limited public transport access, an own vehicle is preferred
