We are passionate about organic and locally sourced food, supporting ethical producers, and creating a welcoming shopping experience for our members and customers.We're looking for a motivated Grocery Shop Manager to lead our retail team and oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy store.About the roleReporting to the Business Manager, you'll be responsible for:Leading, mentoring and rostering the retail teamDelivering exceptional customer serviceStock purchasing, ordering and inventory controlBuilding and maintaining strong supplier relationshipsOverseeing POS, cash handling and retail administrationMaintaining high merchandising, food safety and presentation standardsSupporting member engagement and store initiativesHR responsibilities including recruiting, onboarding,



training and appraisalsWorking collaboratively to achieve the Co-op's operational and financial goals.About youYou'll bring:Previous retail management or supervisory experienceStrong leadership and organisational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience with stock control, purchasing and retail operationsConfidence using retail systems and office software systemsA team-oriented approach and a passion for community-focused business.Why join us?
