This includes hands on work and limiting the need to engage contractors.This role is Monday to Friday and will be supported by an experienced State Maintenance Manager.About You:Experience in building maintenanceKnowledge in aged care industry (desirable)Thorough understanding of all legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs i.e.



OH&S; & Fire/EvacuationAbility to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipmentWillingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance requirements from time to timeExcellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleaguesPrevious experience working autonomouslyBe able to make decisions about costs and priorities and documenting a full plan for work to be completedTech savvy with digital record keeping and communication toolsStrong problem solving and time management skillsAbout the Role:You will lead maintenance operations ensuring both preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use.
