Accounts Receivable / Credit Control OfficerWe are currently seeking an experiencedAccounts Receivable / Credit Control Officerto join our client on a temporary basis for an initial3-4 month assignment.Based in Heathwoodthis is a full-time, office-based role working38 hours per weekand would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on finance position and is confident managing accounts receivable, credit control and customer collections.Working as part of the finance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate customer accounts, proactively managing outstanding debtors and supporting the wider finance function with reporting, reconciliations and general finance tasks.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Maintaining customer accounts, billing details and invoicing recordsGenerating invoices, credit notes and account statements accurately and within required timeframesCompleting customer account reconciliations and ensuring payments, credits and adjustments are allocated correctlyMonitoring debtor balances, ageing reports and overdue accountsProactively following up outstanding payments via phone, email and written correspondenceManaging customer collections while maintaining positive and professional relationshipsProcessing and assessing customer credit applications, including trade references, credit checks,
credit limits and payment termsIdentifying high-risk accounts and escalating significant overdue debts, disputed accounts and potential bad debtsSupporting cash flow management through accurate debtor reporting, collection forecasts and commentary on overdue or high‐risk accountsCoordinating the resolution of invoice disputes, short payments, unallocated receipts and account irregularitiesPreparing monthly financial, debtor ageing, collections and management reports as requiredCompleting bank reconciliations and general accounts receivable dutiesProviding support to Accounts Payable, including invoice data entry, stock receipts and inventory-related tasksAbout YouWe're looking for someone who isexperienced, organised and confident across accounts receivable and credit control, with the ability to hit the ground running in a temporary assignment.You'll ideally have:Robust knowledge of debtor management, collections and account reconciliationsConfidence communicating with customers regarding outstanding accounts and payment arrangementsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyGood problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve account discrepanciesExperience with MYOB EXONET preferredThe OpportunityThis is a3-4 month temporary assignmentbased in Heathwood, working38 hours per week in the office.
