Support Chef | Futuro Early Learning – South-West SydneyFuturo Childcare and Education – Leppington NSWSupport Chef | Futuro Early Learning – South-West SydneyFuturo Early Learning is looking for an experienced, adaptable and reliable Support Chef to join our growing kitchen team.This is a unique full time role working across our Futuro Early Learning centres, providing support and coverage when our centre chefs and kitchen hands are on annual leave, sick leave or otherwise away from their kitchen.When you're not providing leave coverage, you'll work at our Leppington centre, supporting food preparation, systems and the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchens.If you're the kind of chef who can confidently step into a kitchen, get organised and keep things running smoothly, this could be a fantastic role for youAbout YouFormal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent are preferredFood Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencementValid working with children check (WWCC), or ability to obtain prior to commencementFull permission to work in AustraliaWhat the role involves:Work across Futuro Early Learning centres as requiredProvide annual leave and sick leave coverage for centre chefsConfidently run a centre kitchen independently when providing coverPrepare fresh,



nutritious meals and snacks for children each dayFollow Futuro menus, recipes, portioning and food standardsManage food allergies, intolerances and individual dietary requirementsAssist with food preparation and kitchen operations when leave coverage isn't requiredWork collaboratively with our centre teams and wider kitchen teamChild Safety CommitmentAt Futuro, the safety, well-being, and dignity of every child are our highest priority.
