We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced retail leader to join our Chadstone store as an Assistant Store Manager!
As part of the New Balance team, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in leading and coaching the team to deliver an exceptional in-store experience.
Your responsibilities include:
Delivering exceptional, personalised customer service to every customer, fostering authentic and meaningful connections.
Supporting the Store Manager in driving daily store operations and achieving sales targets
Driving sales through consultative selling, understanding each customer's needs and matching them with the right product
Provide support and guidance to Sales Associates to ensure they contribute to the success of the store
Confidently sharing product knowledge across performance footwear and lifestyle apparel




Maintaining exceptional visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store reflects the quality and heritage of the brand
Supporting stock operations including delivery processing, replenishment, and stockroom organisation
Support the store to operate efficiently, in compliance with internal policies and procedures
Desire to challenge yourself to achieve individual and company objectives
To be successful you will have
Previous experience in a customer-focused retail environment (highly regarded)
Confidence in consultative selling and sharing detailed product knowledge
A polished and professional presentation with excellent communication skills
An appreciation for quality product, craftsmanship, and performance innovation
Energetic and positive can-do attitude
A keen interest in retail, fashion and sporting trends
