Location: Chipping Norton, Sydney, NSWSalary: $80,000 – $100,000 + Super + Company Vehicle + CommissionHVAC Sales EngineerAbout the RoleA growing Sydney HVAC contractor is looking for an HVAC Sales Engineer to join its team, covering residential and light commercial air conditioning projects across Greater Sydney.This is a predominantly mobile role where you'll spend much of your time meeting customers, attending sites, developing opportunities and recommending suitable HVAC solutions, with some time spent at the company's Chipping Norton office.The business is open-minded on background.
You could already be working within HVAC sales, or you could be an experienced HVAC technician or engineer with strong industry knowledge who is ready to step away from the tools and build a career in sales.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage HVAC sales opportunities across SydneyAttend customer meetings and conduct site visitsAssess customer requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutionsPrepare quotations and proposalsDevelop recent business opportunities across residential and commercial marketsManage incoming sales enquiriesBuild and maintain strong customer relationshipsWork closely with internal teams to coordinate projects and installationsManage your own Sydney-wide territory and sales pipelineFollow opportunities from initial enquiry through to project handoverAbout YouPrevious HVAC sales experience is highly regarded but not essentialStrong knowledge of the HVAC and air conditioning industryHVAC technicians or engineers looking to transition into sales are encouraged to applyComfortable dealing directly with customers and attending site meetingsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsCommercially driven with the confidence to develop new businessSelf-motivated and comfortable managing your own territoryFull Australian Driver's LicenceWhat's on Offer$80,000 – $100,000 base salary depending on experienceSuperannuationCompany vehicleCommission structureMonday to FridayApproximately 8:00am – 4:00pm / 5:00pmSydney-wide territoryMix of residential and light commercial projectsPredominantly mobile position with office supportOpportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to transition into salesLong-term career progression with a growing HVAC contractor
