As a full‐time Heavy Vehicle/Plant Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and plant equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well‐established and reputable company in the Trades & Services industry.What you'll be doingDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on a variety of heavy vehicles and plant equipmentPerforming routine maintenance and servicing on our fleet, including scheduled inspections, oil changes, and component replacementsMaintaining detailed records of all work carried out and parts usedCollaborating with the wider team to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of our equipmentAdhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulationsWhat we're looking forRelevant trade qualification, such as a Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent,



Light Vehicle Mechanic Trade is also encouraged to applyExperience as a Heavy Vehicle/Plant or light vehicle MechanicProficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heavy vehicles and plant equipment, including excavators, loaders, and earthmoving machineryStrong analytical and problem‐solving skills to identify and resolve complex mechanical issuesExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‐quality workA valid driver's licence with no restrictions and the ability to work in a team environmentAustralian citizenship is required for this positionWillingness to undergo a pre‐employment full functioning MedicalWhat we offerAt Henry Plant and Equipment Hire, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work workplace for our employees.
