Location: PenrithJob Type: Temporary to PermanentHours:Monday, Wedneday & Friday – 7.45am until 4.45pmTuesdsay & Thursday – *****am until 8.30pmSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceOverviewNXT Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and expanding manufacturing business in Penrith to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company where quality, compliance, and continuous improvement are central to its success.The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality standards, carrying out inspections and testing procedures, and supporting production teams to ensure products consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to quality assurance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specificationsConduct visual and functional checks to identify defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformitiesCarry out routine testing, sampling, and monitoring activities on products and equipmentAccurately record inspection findings, test results,
and quality dataInvestigate quality concerns and support root cause analysis activitiesAssist with internal audits and compliance checksSupport continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancementsWork closely with production teams to maintain quality standards throughout manufacturing processesEnsure all quality procedures are followed in line with company policies and regulatory requirementsSupport management in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient production environmentRequirementsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to identify issues that may otherwise be overlookedStrong communication skills, both written and verbalMethodical and process-driven approach to workAbility to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistencyStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and developAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamReliable and dependable with a solid work ethicPrevious experience within quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, or food production environmentsKnowledge of quality standards, audits, and compliance proceduresExperience conducting inspections, testing, or sampling activitiesUnderstanding of continuous improvement principlesNXT Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
