and positive outcomes while supporting young people through challenging situations and significant life transitions.Key responsibilities include:Delivering high-quality therapeutic care in a residential settingSupporting young people with complex trauma backgroundsImplementing individual care and behaviour support plansManaging incidents and crises using therapeutic interventionsBuilding positive relationships with young people and key stakeholdersCompleting high-quality case notes, reports, and documentationParticipating in team planning, reflective practice, and clinical discussionsAdvocating for positive outcomes and opportunities for young peopleSupporting the development of life skills, independence, and community connectionWhat We're Looking ForCertificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Community Services or related fieldMinimum 2 years' experience working in residential care or out-of-home careCurrent Blue CardCurrent First Aid and CPRDemonstrated understanding of trauma-informed practiceStrong report writing and communication skillsAbility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster including sleepovers and weekendsHighly RegardedTherapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI)Hope and Healing FrameworkExperience supporting young people with complex behavioursExperience working with Indigenous young people and CALD communitiesQualifications above Certificate IVThe Type of Person Who Succeeds HereYou are:Calm under pressureTherapeutic rather than reactiveConfident making decisions in complex situationsSkilled at building rapport with young people who have experienced traumaPassionate about creating meaningful changeCommitted to skilled excellenceMake a Real DifferenceThis role is for experienced youth workers who want to be recognised as specialists, contribute to better outcomes for young people, and be part of a team that genuinely values professional practice.
