Due to continued growth, they are looking for a hands-on Purchasing & Warehouse Officer to join their team.
This role involves a mix of Purchasing, stock control and warehousing.This is a full-time, permanent and in-house position (Monday–Friday) with reasonable overtime as required.
The role reports directly to the Production Operations Manager and plays an significant part in keeping their operations running smoothly.About the RoleThis is a busy hybrid role that combines purchasing and warehouse operations.
You will be actively involved in the day-to-day flow of goods through the warehouse while also managing purchasing tasks and stock control.Your responsibilities will include:Receiving incoming goods and accurately receipting stock into the systemPutting stock away and maintaining an organised warehousePicking parts for production jobsIdentifying stock usage through picking and then ordering replacement parts per the orders just pickedInternational purchasing and cost conversionsStock control and regular stocktakesMaintaining accurate records and inventory dataGeneral warehouse duties and administrative supportPurchasing custom productsAbout YouTo succeed in this role you will need to be organised, reliable and detail-focused.
While the inventory system they use is straightforward and easy to use, a strong eye for detail, especially with numbers is essential.You will ideally have:Experience in purchasing and warehousing; this role is a mix of bothStock Control and / or Kanban experienceStrong administrative and IT skillsInitiative to learnExcellent organisation and attention to detailThe ability to work hands-on in the warehouse as well as at a deskA proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasksThe ability to work well within a hands on and small, team-oriented environmentWhat is on Offer?
