As a Harm Reduction Worker, you'll provide assertive outreach and practical support to people experiencing substance use, mental health challenges and homelessness.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver person-centred, trauma-informed care that reduces harm, builds trust and connects people to the services they need.This role operates across a 7-day roster, including a regular Wednesday shift, with some weekend work available.Please refer to the Position Description to know more about the role.Undertake assertive street outreach, providing harm reduction education, advocacy and referralsUndertake community engagement, development activities and tasks which reduces stigma and promotes community safety and wellbeingSupports and assist clients to understand and navigate health and other community services within cohealth and externally as requiredUsing safe strategies, work with intoxicated consumers and assess overdose riskWhat cohealth offers:Generous salary packaging of up to $15,900, plus an additional $2,650 for meals and entertainment, to help increase your take-home pay.
