Due to the AI boom in Data Centres Enertech Electrical is seeking a Qualified Electrician to work on Commercial & Data Centre Projects to join our growing team in Stafford, QLD ****.
This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and data centre electrical fibre & data installations and maintenance projects.
You will play a crucial role in delivering safe, compliant and high-quality electrical solutions to our valued clients.
This position is based in Brisbane, with potential for travel to project locations as required.Key responsibilitiesInstall, test and commission electrical systems and equipment in commercial sites, laboraties and data centre environmentsPerform routine maintenance and repairs on existing electrical installations to ensure optimal performance and safety complianceRead and interpret electrical plans, schematics and technical drawings for complex commercial projectsConduct electrical inspections and testing using appropriate diagnostic equipment and toolsEnsure all work complies with relevant Australian electrical standards, regulations and safety protocolsCollaborate with project managers, engineers and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and site activitiesDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in a timely manner to minimise downtimeMaintain accurate records of completed work, materials used and labour hoursMentor and support junior electricians and apprentices where applicableAdhere to strict health and safety requirements and site-specific safety procedures at all timesWhat we're looking forCurrent electrical licence as a qualified electrician in QueenslandExperience in commercial electrical work, with data centre experience highly valuedStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards and compliance requirements relevant to commercial and data centre installationsProficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics,
