Bridgestone Select Rutherford is seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter to join our automotive trades team.
This is a full-time position working 5 days per week (8.00am-5.00pm) and every 2nd Saturday (8.00am-*****am) (38HRS per week plus 2HRS overtime plus every 2nd Saturday at OT rates.
Based in Rutherford NSW ****, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality tyre fitting services, maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive industry.
You will be responsible for delivering precision work whilst maintaining safety standards and customer satisfaction, making you an essential part of our service operations.Key responsibilitiesFit, balance and repair tyres on cars and 4wd but NO TRUCKS safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocolsConduct inspections of wheels, tyres and suspension componentsMaintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each vehicle servicedCommunicate clearly with customers regarding their vehicle service requirements and any additional issues identifiedKeep work areas clean, organised and protected in accordance with workplace health and safety standardsOperate and maintain specialised equipment including tyre fitting equipmentAssist with inventory management and ordering of tyres and related componentsContribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when requiredWhat we're looking forFormal qualification or recognised tyre fitting,



or automotive tradesProven experience as a tyre fitter in a busy service centre or similar environmentProficiency in using modern and tyre fitting machineryStrong understanding of vehicle suspension systems and wheel geometry principlesExcellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanshipValid Manual driver's licence and the ability to drive customer vehicles when necessaryStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to service deliveryAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentPhysical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working in varied positionWhat we offerBridgestone Select Rutherford offers a competitive package designed to support your professional growth and wellbeing.
