We are currently seeking multiple skilled and experienced Chefs to join our team and bring their expertise in Indian cuisine to our kitchen.As a Chef at The Indian Royal Flavours, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes that will delight our customers.
You will work closely with our team to ensure the highest quality of food is consistently served to our guests.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis, according to traditional recipes and standardsEnsure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient mannerMonitor food inventory and order supplies as neededMaintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelinesTrain and supervise kitchen staff,



ensuring they are following recipes and maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with management to develop new menu items and specialsEnsure consistency and quality of all dishes by regularly tasting and adjusting seasonings as neededAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including portion control and waste managementStay updated on industry trends and incorporate current techniques and ingredients into menu itemsAssist with catering events and large orders as neededRequirements:Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Chef specialising in Indian cuisineCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above qualification preferredKnowledge of Indian regional cuisine and cooking techniquesStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksExcellent time management and organizational skillsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
