We are looking for a registered Midwife/ Nurse to join our dedicated midwifery team at Mildura Base Public Hospital and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families across our community.

You'll work alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment that values your skills, nurtures your growth, and recognises the vital role midwives play in our community every single day.Renumeration under the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employees) Enterprise Agreement.About you:To be successful in this role, you will have:Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration as well as Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practiceProven midwifery experience and possess strong customer service skills along with a caring and nurturing personalityKnowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practiceCompleted Foetal Surveillance EducationCompleted Neo Natal Resus in the last 12 monthsCompleted Obstetric Emergency TrainingProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredDemonstrated commitment to ongoing professional developmentThe Team:The Midwifery Unit at MBPH comprises an 8-bed Antenatal/Postnatal ward, 3 bed midwifery assessment unit, and 3 birth suites that cater for 900 births a year.
The ward also has a level 3,
