As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Qualified Refrigeration Technician or newly qualified apprentice to join our friendly and qualified team.If you take pride in your work, enjoy installation work, fault finding and problem solving, and want to be part of a company that genuinely values its people, we'd love to hear from you.The RoleAs a Qualified Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of residential, builder and commercial air conditioning systems throughout SEQ.This role includes working on split systems, ducted systems, VRF systems, package units, ventilation systems and commercial HVAC equipment across a variety of projects.You'll work Monday to Friday with no after-hours call outs, supported by an experienced office and management team who understand the importance of good scheduling, communication and having the right parts and information available.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of split systems, ducted systems,



VRF systems and commercial HVAC equipmentCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicingDiagnose faults and complete repairs on residential and commercial systemsWork across a variety of major air conditioning and refrigeration brandsComplete detailed job notes, photos and reports accuratelyProvide excellent customer service and practical technical adviceLiaise with the office team regarding parts, follow-up work and schedulingEnsure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standardsMaintain a clean, organised and professional presentation on siteAbout YouCertificate III in Air Conditioning & RefrigerationCurrent Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsCurrent QLD Driver's LicenceWhite CardCurrent First Aid and CPR/LVR certification (or able to obtain)Excellent communication skills and attention to detailA positive attitude and strong work ethicThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamPride in your workmanship and commitment to safetyThe ability to follow company policies and proceduresGood time management, punctuality and reliabilityAustralian permanent residency or citizenshipPrevious trade or mechanical experience highly regarded, but not essentialWillingness to learn and develop within the HVAC industryWhat We OfferAttractive salary package based on experienceCompany ute or van providedUniforms and ongoing supportMonday to Friday only – no after-hours call outsOptional overtime availableStable, long-term role with a growing companyToolbox meetings and open communicationCareer development and opportunities for further trainingExposure to a wide range of residential, builder and commercial projectsA supportive team environment where your efforts are recognised and appreciatedWhy Join Alfa Air?
