About The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a highly organised Service Coordinator to join our Hydraulics Workshop in Tomago on a 12-month max-term contract.
This role is on a full-time Monday-Friday basis.
Working closely with Workshop Supervisors, technicians and customers, you'll manage work orders, monitor job progress, coordinate workflow, and ensure jobs move efficiently from quote through to completion and invoicing.
This is a fast-paced, hands‐on role ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing competing priorities and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor Work in Progress (WIP) activities across the Hydraulics Workshop
Partner with Workshop Supervisors and technicians to support the timely progression and completion of jobs
Monitor schedules, costs and job status, helping to ensure work orders are completed and invoiced accurately
Prepare WIP reports and contribute to forecasting and planning activities
Build positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on job progress
Support quoting, invoicing and warranty processes
Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and compliance requirements
Skills And Experience
Experience in a coordination, administration, planning or customer support role within a workshop, service or industrial environment
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to balance competing priorities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach
A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Confidence using Microsoft Office and navigating ERP or business systems
Exposure to heavy equipment, hydraulics or mechanical services will be highly regarded, but is not essential
